Toni Dobransky

Owner and Principal Instructor

Toni began dancing before she turned 2 at Mt Washington Academy of Dance where her mom taught baton lessons. After moving multiple times due to her father's job, she found her dance home at Peggy Price Studio of Dance. From the age of 10 through graduation Toni was a competitive dancer and student assistant at the studio, as well as a member of her highschool majorettes and dance team the "Honeybears". During this time she attended classes with dance professionals from all over the country. As her training continued, dreams of teaching dance began to grow.

After high school Toni attended Point Park University as a dance major. She graduated with her Bachelor's degree in the Arts with a concentration in Dance. During her time at Point Park she was a teacher at PPSOD and coached the Clairton High School "Honeybears". Her dreams of teaching changed to owning her own studio.

In 2005 Toni, along with her mom (Linda Rowan) and aunt (Michele Long), opened Technique by Toni in the Duquesne Heights Community center. A little over a year later the studio moved into it's current location on Sawmill Run Boulevard.  For the past 19 years TBT has provided Pittsburgh and the surrounding area with a family friendly dance experience.
